Insect Art - SLJ- Summer Learning Journey

Hello Readers, Today I am going to be showing you a picture of my insect Art of a butterfly that I have made out of petals. What I have called my creation is The Art Of Petals. Here is what I have done

  1. Kia Ora Angel,

I like your butterfly! The colour of the petals you have chosen is lovely, and I like how you have shaped the wings! What are you going to call your creation? What sorts of things do you think it will do?

I really like butterflies. I think it would be so cool to be able to fly around all day! It’d be like being a superhero. If you were a superhero, what would your power be?

Perhaps you could add an explanation of why you chose the materials you chose to make your butterfly.

    Ka kite anō,

    1. Hello Shannon, Thank you for commenting on my blog. I am going to call my creation The Art of Petals. I kinda think that the butterfly will do nothing. If I were a superhero my superhero power would probably be ice. Thanks for the helpful comment down there 😇 -Angel

    2. Kia ora Angel,

Thank you for the reply! I really like the title of your creation. It’s very poetic, perhaps you could add it to your blog post.

Butterflies are really productive! They often help spread pollen and make flowers like bees! My favourite type are the monarch butterflies. Have you ever seen those?

Why would you choose ice? It would definitely be cool!

      Happy blogging,
      Shannon

    3. Hello Shannon, My favourite butterflies are monarch butterflies too, yesterday I was in the pool and then I saw one flying by the pool. I choose ice as my power because I could freeze people. Oh and I will put what I called my butterfly Art on this post. Thanks for replying back to me👍-Angel

    5. Hi Angel,

Monarch butterflies are amazing! I'm hoping to get some swan plants so I can see more of them!

Good job on editing your title into your post! Ka pai!

Unfortunately your name hasn't popped up in registration, so can you please redo the form. Ms Grant has commented it on your last SLJ post! Don't worry though, I'm keeping track of your posts so that you still get all your points!

      Have a great day!

  2. Hi Angel, We can see the resemblance of a butterfly that you have created using the caterpillar yellow flower petals. If you had of used a nice big green leaf to lay the petals down on could have highlighted your butterfly.
