Hello Readers today I am going to be showing you a picture of the Koru that I have drawn. The picture that I have drawn is from the fern plant. Then I drew the simple kowhaiwhai pattern. kowhaiwhai patterns are a form of mouri art at a Mariah you can see kowhaiwhai patterns if you look up at the ceiling. kowhaiwhai patterns are not just pretty decorations they tell storys about people and our enviourment. Today I am going to be telling you about what I did at EOTC week. EOTC week is when you go out for a trip. I went to Orana park on Wednesday, The first thing we saw was Meercats , Meercats are these tiny, cute little animals. Then after we saw the Meercats we has morning tea. After we saw reptiles, our year 5 and 6s were split up into 4 groups. I was in group 4. The second thing I saw was Reptiles. The Reptiles were really tiny after we all saw a long reptile with a very long tail. Then we saw spider monkeys. One of the Spider monkeys came up to the glass and look at all of us. We saw alot of animals we saw, Lions, there used to be tigers but they died, we saw tassium devils. On Thursday we went to quial island with the year fours. We had a long walk and it was very tiring. Before we had our walk we had morning tea after our walk we had lunch. Then we got to play on the beach. And I found a lot of crabs. On Friday we went surfing at Sumner. There were boogie boards and surfing boards. I went on a surfing board. We had to were wet suits. I tried to stand up but the waves hit me off. On Monday we went clip and climb which was my favourite part because we got to climb as high as we wanted and also because I liked going down. Before we go down we have to say look out down below! At clip and climb we had 3 activties. On Tuesday we went to New Brighton hot pools. There was a really really cold pool which was 2 meters down but you bounce up and there was just a cold pool, a hot pool, and a warm pool. I went in all of them except the 2 meter pool. The cold pool I stayed in the longest but it was pretty warm in there.

Today I am going to be telling you about the fun run.
At School we are going to do a fun run on Wednesday. Online we are doing a fundraiser to get some money for kids can. If you could donate some money here is the link https://funrun2020.
We are going to either be dressing up in different coloured creations, or getting some type of coloured mixture put on us, and then getting squirted by water guns from our teachers. The best class I think gets to pie a teacher in the face. If room 11 wins, which is my class and we pie a teacher I would pie our principal if we are aloud to pie him, he's pretty funny.

Kia Ora readers, yesterday we did sprints for Athletics. I came 3rd place went into the finals and came 5th place. On the actual day for Athletics was Tuesday, I was sick so I could not come. There was Sprints, long jump, discus, shot put, and high jump. My favourite thing about Athletics is Sprints, and long jump. I was quite disappointed that I could not come to Athletics. 
Hello Readers, yesterday was Labour day and some people like me had a day off. I went out with my grandma and we went to the Warehouse to get me a cap. Then we went into Hornby mall to go to Farmers. After me and my grandma had lunch I ate a chicken rice ball from sushi and my grandma had indian food and shared some with me. After we went to bubble tea to get mango drinks and they were so yum my grandma got a small mango drink and she said that I could have a large mango drink, then we went to PAK'nSAVE. AND THEN HOME!!!

Hello everyone, Today I am going to be telling you what I have been doing in my class in writing. Mrs Mclachlan was going to unwrap something, and my class and me had to guess what she was unwrapping. We all had to close our eyes. Then the next thing Mrs Mclachlan did was give us what she was unwrapping. Then we had to feel what she gave us, we also got to smell what she gave us. I thought it was a raisan when I smelt it. Later we all had to open our eyes and see what it was, and it was a raisan. Mrs Mclachlan said that we could taste it and see what it tasted like. It tasted like a sweet raisan to me. So then we all had a table of senses, etc with smell, feel, taste, hearing, thinking, seeing, and action. We had to fill in all of the table to explain how for example: feel, felt when I touched the raisan.

Hello Readers, Today I am going to be telling you about what I have done at Canterbury swim school in term 4. Canterbury swim school is where you get to swim, and there are instructors that teach you some lessons like, kicking with a board, arm Strokes, and backstrokes. I did kicking with a board, arm strokes and that is all I did for today. My Instructor name was Sam. We all had groups to swim with. The people in my group names were Krystallynna, Taurae, Rableen, Felice, Yavnit, Laura, and Jailah. My goal for next time is to kick with a board, with bubbling under water for a bit longer. I have one video that I can show you of me krystallynna, Laura, me, and Taurae.

A beautiful morning In a dense forest there lived three bears. Mamma bear, daddy bear, and baby
bear. All of the three bears had porridge in the morning, daddy bear said “ The porridge is too hot ,
what should we do now?”Mamma bear said” Maybe we can go out for a walk and hopefully
when we
come back it will be cooled down”
When the three bears left I came walking along in the dense forest to look for some berries
because my mum asked me to grab some. I was looking through the forest and couldn't see
any of the beautiful butterflies and rabbits that are hopping with joy. I went too far away and I
was lost, I said to myself “ I am so tired.” Suddenly I saw a tiny cottage and thought whose it
was. So I went over there peeked through the window and saw no one. “ I wonder if I could
rest here for a few minutes.” “ Hello hello anyone there?” “ There seems to be no one there
.” So I slowly pushed the door open, I was looking around and went inside the cottage. “This
indeed is a very wonderful cottage.” “Mmmm what is that lovely smell?
I am suddenly feeling very hungry now.” I walked down to the table and saw three bowls
that had porridge in them. “This is a nice big bowl, I will have the porridge from this one.
” “ This is very hot. “I have burned my tongue.”I tried the second bowl, this is too cold and
it is not tasting quite nice.” “I tried the third bowl Mmmmmm yummy I like this bowl this is
just right,
I hope no one minds.” “ Now I am feeling a bit drowsy.” “I think I will rest here for sometime
and then go home.”
Suddenly I found three chairs. “ This chair is too big.” “ This chair is medium but I can’t get on.
“ I think the small chair will be just right.” But then when I sat on the chair the chair broke and
I fell down.” “ Ouch that hurt and the chair has broken.” “ I hope the owner will not get too angry.”
I tried my best to fix the chair but could not. “ I have been a bad girl today, I promised mum I would
get the berries and not have gone too far but I did not get the berries and went too far away.”
“Now I have eaten someone's porridge and broke their chair. “ I feel very naughty and very sorry
for what I did.” “ I will wait here for the owners to come back .” “I do hope that the owners will be
kind and forgive me.” I looked out the window but saw no one there.” “I will only wait here for
a few moments otherwise I will not be able to get home because it will be dark.”
“Mum is going to be
so angry with me.”
I was waiting for a while and then wandered to a room with three beds. “I am so tired and the
beds look so comfy I might just rest here for a few minutes.” “This bed is a bit hard.”
“This bed is too soft.” “This bed is just right”. “This bed is so comfortable I will lie down here for a while.
Later on the three bears came back from their walk. Daddy bear said “ The porridge
must have cooled down by now.” When the three bears were inside daddy bear said
“Someone has been having my porridge.” “Mumma bear said “ Someone has been having
my porridge too.” Baby bear said “
Someone has eaten all my porridge, what will I eat now?” Mamma bear said “ Now now
baby bear don't worry. I will make you some more porridge but who has come here?”
Daddy bear said “ Humph! Someone has been sitting on my chair.” Mumma bear said “
I think someone has been sitting on my chair as well.” Baby bear said “ Someone has
broken my chair!” Mumma bear said “ Who could it be let's have a look around the
house to see.” Then the three bears went into the next room which is with the beds.
Daddy bear said “ Someone has been sleeping on my bed.” Mamma bear said someone
has been sleeping on my bed.” Baby bear said “ Oh look mamma Daddy someone is sleeping
on my bed.” Baby bear said “ I am sure that is the baddie who ate my porridge, and broke my
chair.” Baby bear also said, “ Come one Mama punish punish!” The loud sounds that the baby
bear was making made me wake up. I got a fright and jumped out of bed,I ran to the open
window and ran away as fast as I could. Mama bear said “ oh the poor girl you scared her
away.” Baby bear said “ She broke my chair and ate my porridge. She is horrible.
” Mamma bear said “ Oh come on baby bear.” “You can always get more porridge
and get a new chair but you scared the little girl.”
I ran home and my mum asked “ Why are you painting like this?” I said “ oh mamma
I saw some bears in the forest I was so scared and just ran home.” My mum said “ Oh my child you
promised me you would not go far away.” I said “ I promise mamma I will never do it ever again.
” My mum said “ Well go wash your hands and get ready for dinner and then you can go to bed.”

Hello Readers, Today I am going to be telling you about the Student Summit. Student Summit is something you can choose to do. It is when you teach other children from other schools how to do some things. There were workshops that you could choose. There were section 1 section 2 and all the way up to 4. I got to do section 3 presenting with my buddy Leo. For Section 1 I went on a google meeting for HPS Mihi Maker. For section 2 SHS pixton Comic. and for section 4 I was suppose to do STB Scratch shapes but it did not work so I got to choose and I have chosen how to use Prezi. Hello Readers, today I am going to be telling you about some things about feelings . The first feeling is green, green is when you are happy, calm and ready. The second feeling is yellow, yellow is when you are frustrated, tired, silly and exited the reason why you are exited is because you are out of control. The fourth feeling is blue when you are sad sick and also tired like the yellow zone. And the last one is red, red is when you are Angry scared and out of control.

This year, me, my Grandma and Granddad went to Joe's Garage. We went there
for my birthday. It was already my birthday, but we went there because of
the lockdown. Later on Alyssa my step mum came in with my older sister
Vanessa, and my younger brother Kingsley.
Soon my dad came in, during that we ate food. After we had cake for
me and my sister because my sister Vanessa, had her birthday in
the lockdown as well. After that me, my Dad, my step mum
Alyssa, and my sister and brother went home to my dad's house.
Later we got time to play, eventually we got time to play.
Then finally we went to bed.
